Kudrin says Russian govt has leeway to reduce tax burden
MOSCOW, Feb 18 (PRIME) -- The Russian government can reduce the tax burden, head of the Audit Chamber Alexei Kudrin said on Tuesday.
“I think that the government has a leeway for reduction,” Kudrin said.
Business daily Vedomosti reported last week that the government could cut the payroll tax to 23–25% from 30%, but Deputy Minister Alexei Sazanov said that the ministry was not discussing the reduction.
